About Us
In the 2022 football season, I suffered a concussion on kick off. A week later I rushed back on the field, just to get my bell embarrassingly rung at practice, and end up concussed again. Having come back so soon from my first concussion, the second one was much worse. I had to withdraw from playing football entirely, I had to withdraw from classes, and my grades tanked as my foggy mind was no longer able to think as clearly on homework and tests. On top of that, I suffered from constant headaches, nausea, and frequent vomiting over the next month and a half. I would sleep for 10 hours and wake up feeling like I overdosed on melatonin. It was torture. At the same time, I learned valuable lessons during and after the recovery process. My goal is to share the things I learned, and save student athletes like me from going through the same situation I had to.
