In recent years, the law has come a long way in trying to limit dangers of concussions in high school athletics. However, there is still a long way to go. Across the U.S. concussion education programs vary widely, and many have been found to have no success in helping athletes identify concussions. While regulations will help, it does not affirm a proper protocol is followed when concussions occur. Take the time to talk to your local school administrators, and ensure that they have a proper guideline to deal with concussions.
